Natarajan Cricket Academy Ground: A Dream Realized

Indian cricketer T. Natarajan, known for his impressive journey from a small village to the national cricket team, has made another significant contribution to the game by establishing a cricket ground for his academy in Chinnappampatti village, near Sankagiri, in Salem district. This initiative marks an important step for nurturing local talent and providing a professional platform for aspiring cricketers in the region.

Natarajan Cricket Ground Features

The T. Natarajan Cricket Academy Ground has been thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of budding cricketers. The facility includes:

Four Practice Pitches: These provide high-quality surfaces for practice sessions.
Gym: A fully equipped gym to focus on the players’ fitness and strength training.
Canteen: Offering refreshments and meals for the athletes and visitors.
Mini Gallery: A seating area with a capacity of 100 seats, allowing spectators to enjoy matches and training sessions comfortably.

Inauguration

The ground was officially inaugurated by veteran cricketer Dinesh Karthik, along with prominent TNPL (Tamil Nadu Premier League) cricketers on 23rd June 2023.
