Indian Railways is operating special trains for pilgrims attending the Kumbh Mela in January and February 2025.
To accommodate the massive crowds, Indian Railways will operate 3,124 special trains in addition to 10,100 regular trains between January 10 and February 28. With 278 ticket counters and enhanced infrastructure at Prayagraj station, which can now handle up to 1.02 million passengers daily, the entire system is geared up for a smooth and efficient experience.
