Cancer Patients Aid Association (CPAA) and Parents’ Association Thalassemic Unit Trust, Mumbai is organizing an annual fund-raising event “Khazana” – a festival of Ghazals in aid of cancer patients and thalassemic children. Twenty-Three years ago, Shri Pankaj Udhas revived Khazana a very popular format of Ghazal presentation which had been initiated in the late 80's. The concerts held for the last twenty-Two years at Oberoi Hotels & Resorts Mumbai have been a resounding success. This year “Khazana” will be held at The Regal Room, Trident, Nariman Point, Mumbai on Friday 26 th July 2024 and Saturday 27 th July 2024. The concert will be held for two evenings. This year Khazana will be Dedicated to Padmashri Pankaj Udhas Ji. “Khazana – A Festival of Ghazals” is an annual event that celebrates the rich tradition of ghazal music, typically held in Mumbai, India. It brings together some of the most renowned ghazal singers from across the country and sometimes internationally. The festival aims to preserve and promote the ghazal art form, which is a poetic expression of love, pain, and beauty, often set to music.
